I launched my career in corporate innovation, leading the technical aspects of new product development—from formulation through to packaging design.

Through hands-on customer research, I gained valuable insights that informed material sourcing and machinery selection. My focus was on exceeding expectations and ensuring market differentiation while delivering on time and within budget.

The result: successful launches across Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico, tailored to local preferences, which helped solidify the company’s position as a market leader in the region.

Transitioning from technical roles, I moved into brand innovation, where I led the conceptualization and launch of three new multivitamin products for a traditional local brand. By leveraging consumer health insights, strategic brand positioning, and product differentiation, my team drove growth through innovative product development, revitalizing the brand and expanding its market share.

Beauty Industry

Leading High-Volume, High-Impact Product Portfolios

In the fast-paced beauty industry, I managed product portfolios for three major brands—Ésika, L’Bel, and Cyzone—across makeup, personal care, fragrances, and skincare. Working within a direct sales model, we delivered a new product catalog every 28 days. Leading agile, cross-functional teams of up to 10 direct reports, I applied Lean processes and Design Thinking methodologies to uncover market opportunities, generate consumer insights, and create innovative product concepts.

My teams owned the end-to-end stage-gate process, ensuring each product launch was timely and successful across 14 Latin American countries. Many of these launches not only met but exceeded ambitious sales targets. By staying on top of global trends through supplier partnerships and industry fairs, we consistently delivered products that resonated with consumers and strengthened the market presence of Ésika, L’Bel, and Cyzone.
